Protos - Spain
Protos Winery is located in Ribera del Duero, Spain and has been producing wine since 1927. Protos Roble is made from manually harvested grapes control-fermented and aged in French and American barrels. Aromas of red and black fruit stand out, accompanied by
sweet spice and toasty notes. The palate is marked by a good fruity structure, balanced oak, and velvety tannins. Pairs well with roast meats, and tomato-based recipes.
The nose is a perfect blend of citrus, green apple, and fennel. Tropical fruits and Verdejo grape’s typical acidity with structure from lees aging on the palate makes this wine a consumer favourite. Serve chilled. Enjoy its long finish with salads, sushi, paella, and seafood.
