Justino's Madeira - Portugal
Justino’s has been in existence since 1870 in Madeira as a private family company, when it was known as “Justino Henriques”. This makes it one of the oldest producers and exporters of Madeira Wine, internationally known for the quality of its wines.
The Atlantic Island of Madeira is situated 867km Southwest of Portugal was discovered by Portuguese sailors and explorers in 1419. Justino’s Madeira Wines are produced only using the finest grapes grown on the island, made in strict accordance with traditional methods and aged until bottling. Justino’s Madeiras are very versatile, appreciated during a meal, a delightful combination with any dessert or by itself.
Today, Justino’s holds one of the largest stocks of Madeira wine on the island, including high quality wines aged in oak casks, which enables the company to meet the requirement of the most demanding and selective consumers.
This is Fine Rich Madeira matured in casks for more than 3 years, with Deep amber colour, Elegant aroma, rich, ripe on the nose with hints of spices, coffee, and caramel with notes of deliberate oxidation. The palate is rich, sweet, with ripe & cooked plum, walnut, caramel,
and high acidity, Full-bodied, round texture with appealing and attractive after taste.
Serve slightly chilled at 180C-200C. Excellent served as a dessert, with rich foods, chocolate, coffee, cheeses, and a splendid after-dinner drink. Superb when served in a large glass over ice with lemon peel.
