Tenuta Argentiera is at the heart of prestigious DOC Bolgheri, a terroir dedicated to great red wines and synonymous with the celebrated “Super Tuscans”. It stands in a magnificent patch of land in the Maremma that blends countryside and sea, suspended between woods and Mediterranean
scrub.
This is the closest winery to the Tyrrhenian coast, and also the highest in altitude of the entire Bolgheri territory, the estate stands out among all other Bolgheri estates, relishing in a microclimate with unique characteristics. The land is especially well-suited to growing incredible red grapes.
The estate is also considered among the most beautiful in Italy, with its spectacular view of the islands of the Tuscan archipelago. Their soils range from calcerous and stony to sandy to mineral and pebbly, lending complexity to the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah and allowing for the crafting of one of Italy’s most iconic wines.
Argentiera Bolgheri DOC Superiore is the highest expression of our dedication to Bordeaux style. With grapes coming from the winery’s greatest vineyards and a long maturation in French oak, this is a wine with a rich and silky taste. The bold, expressive aromas and refined structure make this one of the greatest wines in Bolgheri, and the world.

Poggio ai Ginepri – Bolgheri DOC – has a pronounced nose of red and black fruit, along with a myriad of secondary and tertiary notes of vanilla and tanned leather. The palate is marked by an intense structure, but with a beautiful softness and a remarkably long, clean
finish.
