Yalumba’s story is one of pioneering, from the first planting in 1849 to sustainable winemaking today. Six generations have headed this fiercely independent, family-owned winemakers and today they showcase the best of the Barossa. Their passion to create fantastic wines has led them to creating the only cooperage in the Southern Hemisphere, and their experienced vintners are famous globally for their innovative approach. Yalumba has always strived to reduce their environmental impact. They boast the largest solar energy system of any Australian winery and 40+ awards for sustainability.
Samuel’s Collection is a series of exclusive wines named after Yalumba’s founder Samuel Smith. Deep purple-ruby in colour, this oaked Barossa Shiraz is a generously aromatic wine with notes of plums, anise, lavender, and pepper. The palate is full-bodied with intense flavours of berries, dark chocolate, vanilla and liquorice.
The silky-smooth tannins and long, complex finish will be best enjoyed when this wine has been decanted 30 minutes and served at 18°C. Pair it with grilled meats, Indian dishes, barbecues, and chocolate.

A classic Coonawarra Cabernet with bright aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and subtle mint. The palate shows structured tannins, ripe red and dark fruits, and a long, elegant finish.
Serve at 16°-18°C. Notably, the Sanctum vineyard is planted on the famed terra rossa soils, giving the wine its characteristic elegance and minerality.

A rich, fruit-forward Shiraz with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and spice. The palate is soft yet structured, with ripe dark fruits, gentle tannins, and a smooth finish.
Serve at 16°-18°C. Interesting fact: the Y Series represents Yalumba’s experimental range, showcasing approachable wines with classic varietal character at an accessible price.

Aromatic Shiraz and Viognier combine beautifully to create this crimson-hued dry red wine. A perfume of violets, plums, blackberries, and white pepper is matched with a full-bodied palate of dark chocolate and ripe cherries. The exotic synergy between the Shiraz and Viognier results in a balanced, fruit-forward wine with a complex, lingering finish.

This award-winning dry, fruit-forward Viognier leads with the aromas of freshly cut grass and just-picked chamomile buds and elderflower. This progresses on to the sweeter bouquet of muskmelon with a tinge of ginger. The palate is light-bodied yet pleasantly complex, with crispness and flavours of apricots, citrus, a silky mouthfeel, and a finish that comes from lees ageing.
Enjoy chilled at 10°C with lightly spiced dishes, mashed potatoes, or grilled chicken and vegetables.
