Schloss Vollrads leverages their knowledge and a tradition of over 800 years of viticulture to produce elegant fine wines suited for any occasion. The only grow Riesling grapes and pick these grapes very carefully by hand – and several times per season – to collect them at precisely the right degree of ripeness. The distinctive flavour of their wines can be attributed to winemaking the unique terroir of their estate in the Rheingau, where six different geological layers provide the vine roots with a variety of minerals. A strength of their wines is the abundance of flavours along with low alcohol.
This lean Riesling reflects the special terroir of Schloss Vollrads with a crisp and yet elegant mouthfeel and the delicate aroma of stone fruits. It’s a deliciously citric and fuses freshness with minerality to deliver a very versatile wine.
