Limoncello is an authentic Italian lemon liqueur that is extremely popular in Italy. Luxardo’s time-honored production methods of infusing alcohol with peels, pulp and juice enhances the natural aroma and bright citrus taste of lemons harvested in southern Italy.

Luxardo Maraschino Originale is still produced according to a special formula created by Girolamo Luxardo in 1821. Only the heart of Luxardo marasca cherry distillates is used to produce this exquisite and iconic cherry liqueur, packed in a style reminiscent of 1820s high society in Italy. Crystal clear in colour, the aroma is typical of marasca cherry distillate with strong alcohol spirit and roasted nuttiness. The palate is smooth but intense, with hints of dark chocolate, vanilla, and orange marmalade.

Luxardo Sangue Morlacco, Luxardo’s second speciality after Maraschino Originale, has been crafted since 1821. Every summer, when the Luxardo marasca cherries are harvested, part of the juice is separated and naturally fermented. Once it reaches the desired alcohol level, neutral alcohol is added to preserve the juice, which is then aged in oak vats. With a clear, deep red hue, its aroma is rich and vibrant, like freshly pressed cherries. The flavour is bold and complex, with a balanced fruitiness that brings depth without being overly sweet.

The crystal-clear liqueur with an intense aroma of three citrus fruits. To add some complexity, some orange blossom is added to the infusion which is then distilled. On the palate, it is smooth, well rounded, with a lingering citrus taste that will delight any connoisseur.

Use in classic cocktails such as Margarita, Cosmopolitan and Sidecar. You could also enjoy it neat or over ice as an after dinner drink, or over fruit salads.
